AGA Sanitätsartikel GmbH was founded in 1975 by managing directors Manfred and Ute Walter. In 1993, their son Achim Walter joined the management team.
The company strives to produce high quality products at competitive prices. New products are continuously developed in-house with the involvement of practicing physicians. Several patents have resulted from this cooperation.
At AGA, great emphasis has always been placed on product safety. As early as 1993, some of our products received the GS sign (for approved security) by RWTÜV. Since then, the scope of approved products has increased continuously. Today, the GS sign may no longer be attached to medical devices in conjunction with the CE label.
In October 1995, AGA Sanitätsartikel GmbH was certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001 – DIN EN 46001 by the Landesgewerbeanstalt Bayern (LGA) as one of the first companies in its branch.
AGA products meet the regulations of EC-Guideline 93/42/EWG of June 14, 1993, relating to medical devices and are thus affixed with the CE label in accordance with Annex VII thereof.

AGA POWER-LIFT and AGA-POWER-DUO-LIFT X-Ray Tables
The AGA-POWER-LIFT table has been specially developed for use in X-ray areas.
The radiolucent table surface has a thickness of 15mm.The metal-free area is 1500x600mm (LxW).
To provide enhanced stability, the leg frame of the AGA-POWER-LIFT is equipped with levelling screws.
The X-ray table features dual electric height-adjustable anodized aluminum lifting columns controlled by ultra-quiet electric motors and a hand switch.
It is also available in a mobile version with castors and central locking system (both available at extra charge) providing excellent manoeuvrability and comfort of use.
Additional accessories available are bedding upholstery and OP rails.
The AGA-POWER-LIFT table (photo) is available not only with electric height adjustment, but also with tilt adjustment capability, controlled by a user-friendly hand module which allows MULTI-TASKING-Adjustment (i.e. simultaneous height and tilt adjustment).

Magnetic Resonance Tomography (MRT) Tables
These light magnetic universal tables are intended for use as patient transport tables in the field of Magnetic Resonance Tomography (MRT). They are compatible with the following Siemens MR systems: Avanto (1,5T), Trio (3T), Harmony (1T), Symphony (1,5T), Sonata (1,5T), Vision (1,5T), Concerto (0,2T), Espree (1,5T), C! (0,35T), Verio (3T), Essenza (1,5T), Skyra (3T) and Aera (1,5T).
They are equipped as a standard with four smooth-running castors (Ø100mm). One set consists of four multi-directional locking castors.
In order to allow unobstructed patient access from either side as required, both side rails can be moved up or down by a simple twist mechanism (side rail dimensions: 800x250mm, LxH).
Please pay careful attention to the width of the tables with the side rails: MRI table number AWL-3065/VA has an overall width of 795mm, and MRI table number AWL-3080/VA is 975mm wide, side rails included.
The headrest can be smoothly adjusted by a clamping rod mechanism, up to +30°. Both upholstered pads, i.e. headrest and main section, are 64mm thick.
An IV pole with four hooks and table fastening (Article No. INF-1720/VA) is available as optional accessory. Please note that retrofitting of the IV pole is not possible.
The paper roll holder bars (Article No. P-3050 for 650mm-wide tables and P-3070 for 800mm), are mounted on the inside of the leg frame at the foot end. Retrofitting is possible only to a limited extent.

Recovery Tables
The recovery tables are intended for mobile use. They are equipped as a standard with smooth-running castors (Ø75mm). One set consists of two locking and two non-locking castors.
Both side rails can be pivoted up or down by a simple twist mechanism to allow unobstructed patient access from either side as required.
Please pay careful attention to the width of the tables with side rails: recovery tables number AWL-1065 and AWL-2065 each have a total width of 795mm. Recovery tables AWL-1080 and AWL-2080 are 975mm wide, side rails included.
An optional, though non-retrofittable, wire basket is available at extra charge. The dimensions of the wire basket (plastic-coated in RAL7035 light grey) are approximately 550x290x190mm (WxDxH).
The patient recovery tables can be equipped with push bars and protective frame bumpers as an option.
Larger castors (Ø125mm) with central locking system, available at extra charge, offer enhanced manoeuvrability and comfort of use (Article No. LR/Z-125). All four double castors are connected by rods. A foot pedal to lock in position or release is located at the head and foot ends of the table.

AGA-JUS Operating Table
The AGA-JUS is an economical multi-function operating table with several patient positioning options. The AGA-JUS is ideal for use in general surgery, specialized fields as well as outpatient departments. The base frame is made of stainless steel ensuring a high degree of stability, and equipped with large, smooth running electrically conductive Ø125mm double-castors which offer excellent mobility. The two double-castors directly underneath the backrest are lockable by foot pedal.
The table frame is made of aluminum and stainless steel, and powder-coated in RAL9007 aluminum grey.
The AGA-JUS operating table (Article No. JUS-2000) is equipped with straight, divided, vertically and laterally adjustable leg sections, which are also removable.
-Vertical adjustment range of leg rests: +20° / – 90°
-Lateral adjustment range of leg rests: 0° / – 90°
The backrest adjustment and Trendelenburg/Anti-Trendelenburg positioning of our AGA-JUS can be set smoothly with the aid of gas pressure spring mechanism, located underneath the head section.
Lateral tilting is done with a smooth crank drive, also located under the head section.

The maintenance-free, hydraulic height adjustment (770-1070mm) is controlled by a foot pedal. The column housing is made of stainless steel.

Different accessories can be attached to the OP rails, such as arm support, anaesthesia pole, side and shoulder support, instrument table, leg holder, etc… Please note that fixing clamps may be required in some cases.
The headrest can be positioned to the side or completely removed if required.

The five-piece tabletop of the AGA-JUS offers optimum and safe patient positioning. The radiolucent table surface enables the use of X-ray equipment or an image intensifier without any problems. The 40mm-thick upholstery has an electrically conductive cover.

Patient Transport Tables
AGA’s patient transport tables are also available with a height adjustment system.
The hydraulic height adjustment (range 500-980mm) is done by a foot pump, which can be mounted on the left or the right hand side.
Standard features of our patient transport tables include castors with central locking system for enhanced manoeuvrability and comfort of use. All four double castors (ø125mm) are connected by rods and a foot pedal to lock in position or release is located at the head and foot ends of the table.
The list price for the patient transport table shown here includes two side rails adjustable by a twist mechanism (dimensions 760x250mm, WxH). As was the case for the recovery tables, please pay careful attention to the width of the transport table with side rails: Tables H-AWL 1065/Y 980 and H-AWL 2065/Y 980 have a total width of 795mm. Tables H-AWL 1080/Y 980 and H-AWL 2080/Y 980 are 975mm wide, side rails included.
The patient transport tables are also available with a gas pressure spring at the foot end of the mattress frame (Article No. SL-AWL). The red release button for the shock position/Trendelenburg adjustment (approx. 11°), is embedded in the mattress frame.
For enhanced comfort of use and functionality, the patient transport tables can optionally be equipped with a second foot pump pedal, push bars, protective frame bumpers, IV pole and paper roll holder.

AGA-THERA Treatment Table
Our AGA-THERA universal treatment tables have been designed for use in chiropractic, orthopaedic and therapy practices, with their split upholstered pads (64mm-thick) and various smooth adjustment options.
The adjustments of the armrests (430x160mm, LxW), leg rests (500x300mm, LxW), backrest (520x620mm, LxW), headrest with face cut-out (430x280mm, LxW), and seat section (450x620mm LxW) allow a wide range of positions, such as Trendelenburg and anti-Trendelenburg, drainage position and more.
To avoid rocking and swinging movements of the tabletop, our universal treatment tables are manufactured with AGA’s precision dual-box rectangular profiles. The height-adjustment mechanism can be manual, i.e. by hand crank (Article No. TH-1065/H), hydraulic (Article No. TH-1065/Y ) or motorized (Article No. TH-1065/E).
The maintenance-free gear provides an optimal transmission ratio (i = 10mm/rev) ensuring smooth, quick and easy operation of the hand crank for height adjustment (Article No. TH-1065/H). Of course, this can be done effortlessly regardless of the patient’s weight.
The hydraulic height adjustment on the universal treatment table TH-1065/Y is controlled by a centrally built-in foot pump. The foot pump can be operated from the other side as needed (please specify upon ordering). Of course, the height adjustment can be performed effortlessly regardless of the patient’s weight.
The height adjustment on the universal treatment table TH-1065/E is controlled by a maintenance-free, ultra-quiet electric motor and a pneumatic hand switch (or foot switch – no extra cost, please specify upon ordering).
All AGA-THERA models are equipped with a mobility system, included in the listed price. With this clever raise-and-lower device controlled by a foot pedal, the table can be raised on castors or lowered back to its feet as needed.

Instrument Tables
Both instrument tables are made exclusively of stainless steel. They differ in the design of the base and thus also in their load capacity.
Instrument table ZT-3060/3 features a crossbar with two lockable electrically conductive double castors, and a longitudinal bar with one (non-lockable) electrically conductive double-castor. The tabletop has a maximum load capacity of 5kg.
Instrument table ZT-3060/4 has two crossbars, each with two lockable and two non-lockable electrically conductive double castors. The tabletop has a maximum load capacity of 15kg.
The dimensions of the tabletop are 600x400mm (LxW), with a side raised edge of 15mm. The height-adjustment range is 840-1435mm (screw lock mechanism).

AGA-PROKTO-LIFT Examination Chair
During the development of the AGA-PROKTO-LIFT proctology chair (Article No. PRE-1067/EE), our main focus was on how to ease the patient’s tension as much as possible before, during and after the examination. Since the patient is unable to actually observe further examination proceedings, this provides the best possible relief.
The ergonomically-designed padding of the backrest (95-135mm) and seat (70mm) of the AGA-PROKTO-LIFT offers a very high comfort level, while the low seat height (620mm) enables easy access.
Once the physician has brought the backrest into a horizontal position using electric adjustment, the entire seat area can be folded down using a single handle.
To provide the physician with optimal working conditions, the seat height adjustment and backrest tilting are controlled by two maintenance-free, spill-proof and ultra-quiet electric motors and pneumatic foot switches.
The AGA-PROKTO-LIFT includes a set of two armrests, a stainless steel pan and a paper roll holder.

Treatment Tables
Our treatment tables are available in three leg frame versions (lacquered, chrome-plated and stainless steel) and two widths (650 and 800mm). They are equipped with a two-piece tabletop, a raster-adjustable headrest (+30°) and 47mm-thick pads. The table frame itself is always coated.
The 650mm-wide version, with fully lacquered frame, is available under article number ULI-6000. Model ULI-6020 has chrome-plated legs, and ULI-6030 stainless steel ones.
An optional paper roll holder is available under article number PE-6000 at extra charge.
The ELI-8000 version of the treatment table differs from the ELI-6000 only by its width of 800mm compared to 600mm.
The paper roll holder for the tables ELI-8000, ELI-8020 (with chrome-plated legs) and ELI-8030 (with stainless steel legs) is available under article number PE-8000.
Treatment Tables
The RUL-6000 universal table stands out by its shapely design, enhanced by the two-piece leatherette upholstered tabletop, which is slightly raised from the main frame by spacers and finished with softly rounded corners.
The leg frame is equipped with levelling screws to ensure stability.
The headrest is raster-adjustable up to +30°. The table has a pad thickness of 64mm and is only available in coated version.
An optional paper roll holder is also available for this table.
Universal Tables
Our universal tables are available in three frame finishes (lacquered, chrome-plated and stainless steel), three widths (650, 800 and 1000 mm) and four heights (650, 700, 750 and 800 mm). They are extremely stable and robust due to reinforced brackets on all frame corners as well as crossbars between both sets of legs. The use of a longitudinal bar is therefore unnecessary.
The universal tables have a smoothly adjustable headrest (+30°) secured by clamping rod mechanism and a 64mm-thick two-piece upholstered tabletop.
Our universal tables are also available with three-piece 64mm-thick tabletop. The head section (length 500mm) can be smoothly adjusted up to +30°, and the leg section up to +20°, secured by clamping rod mechanism.
XXL Tables
We have extended our range of universal tables to offer models particularly intended for adipose patients, the XXL tables.
A reinforced steel tubing frame with larger profile, together with two additional crossbars underneath the main lying area, provide a very sturdy table. These XXL tables can withstand a patient weight up to 300kg.
The XXL tables come with a 64mm-thick two-piece tabletop. The head section adjustment (+30°) is done smoothly by clamping rod mechanism.
They are available in either 1900mm (Article No. XXL-1080/1900/PH) or 2000mm length (Article No. XXL-1080/2000/PH).
A paper roll holder is included with the XXL table. It is mounted on the inside of the leg frame at the foot end of the table.

AGA-UNI-MED Multi-Function Table
The AGA-UNI-MED multi-function table is used in surgical, gynaecological, proctological, rectoscopy and general medicine practices.
The upholstered tabletop of the AGA-UNI-MED is divided into three pieces. All three 64 mm-thick pad sections can be smoothly adjusted as required, independently of each other, and locked in place by clamping rod mechanism. Only the backrest adjustment is gas pressure spring assisted. The mattress frame and the seat section are each provided with a pelvic cut-out.
The smooth height and tilt adjustments are controlled by maintenance-free, spill-proof, ultra-quiet electric motors and pneumatic foot switches.
With full use of both motorized adjustments, a Trendelenburg and Anti-Trendelenburg positioning up to 25° may be obtained.
Levelling screws fitted into the wide base provide enhanced stability on any type of floor.
The AGA-MED multi-function table is also available in a mobile version, with the use of castor sets LR-75 (Ø75mm) or LR-125 (Ø125mm), available at extra charge. A set includes four castors, two of which are lockable.
The central locking system with larger castors (Ø125mm), also available at extra charge, offers enhanced manoeuvrability and comfort of use (Article No. LR/Z-125). All four double castors are connected by rods. A foot pedal to lock in position or release is located at the head and foot ends of the table.
The AGA-UNI-MED includes leg rests with plastic shells, mounting clamps, a set of two OP rails (1700mm long), a stainless steel pan and a paper roll holder.
Different accessories can be attached to the OP rails, such as arm support, anaesthesia pole, side and shoulder support, instrument table, side rails, etc.

AGA-LIFT Examination Chair
The AGA gynaecological examination chairs stand out by their functions. The AGA-LIFT shown here (Article No. GL-1060/EE) features electric height adjustment ranging from 650mm (initial height) to 1160 mm (measured at the seat front edge) with full use of both motorized adjustments, therefore providing every user with an ideal working height.
Furthermore, the low seat height of the AGA-LIFT eliminates the need for a folding footstool.
The base and column covers are impact-resistant and are easy to keep clean, just like all the other components. Levelling screws fitted into the wide base provide enhanced stability on any type of floor.
The AGA-LIFT offers a very high comfort level thanks to ergonomically designed backrest upholstery (thicknesses ranging from 75mm at the lower end to 140mm at the top) in conjunction with a 80mm-thick upholstered seat. This was achieved by layering different foam densities. Additionally, because of the wedge shape of the backrest, a separate neck roll is not necessary.
Electric pelvic tilting in combination with backrest adjustment enables Trendelenburg positioning up to 30°. The backrest itself is adjustable up to +54°.
The examination chairs referenced under article numbers ERV are equipped with a motorized adjustable backrest (instead of gas pressure spring assisted manual adjustment).
Pelvic tilting, seat height and backrest adjustments (on selected models) are controlled by maintenance-free, ultra-quiet electric motors and pneumatic foot switches.
The AGA-LIFT includes a set of two OP rails pre-attached onto the sides of the chair frame, an earthed AC socket at the back of the column, a stainless steel pan with holder and a paper roll holder.
Footrests with adjustable foot plates, leg rests, stirrups, ring-shaped armrests, mounting clamps, colposcopy holder, knee and leg plates as well as a mobile base are available at extra charge.
AGA-RE-PRO Examination Chair
In the standard version, the proctological examination chair AGA-RE-PRO (Article No. RP-1058/E) is equipped for the knee-elbow kneeling examination position.
The distance between the knee support plate and rectoscopy bolster is variable. The physician can therefore adapt the position of the rectoscopy bolster to each patient. This results in a safer examination position for the patient and an optimal working height for the physician.
Should the working height offered by the AGA-RE-PRO be insufficient, it can be increased using the electric tilting of the seat section from 865mm up to 1175mm (measured at the seat front edge).
The distance between the footstool (dimensions 490x320x250mm, WxDxH) and the knee support plate is 400mm.
The AGA-RE-PRO includes of a set of two OP rails pre-attached onto the sides of the chair frame, a stainless steel pan, a knee support plate, a folding footstool, an earthed AC socket on the back of the column and a paper roll holder.
The height-adjustable rectoscopy bolster (Article No. RRH-65), mounting clamps (Article No. BKO-2522) and ring-shaped arm rests (Article No. RL-2060) are available at extra charge.
The proctological examination chairs referenced under article numbers ERV are equipped with a motorized adjustable backrest (instead of gas pressure spring assisted manual adjustment) controlled by a pneumatic foot switch.
For the examination in the lithotomy position, the height-adjustable rectoscopy bolster can be replaced by various types of leg support (leg rests, foot rests, heel rests).
AGA-URO-LIFT Examination Chair
With this urological examination chair as well, attention has been paid to the finest details. A special feature of the AGA-URO-LIFT (Article No. UUS-3060/EE) is a seat-synchronized centrifugal utility sink. Thanks to the seat synchronization, the splash protection is increased, even in a raised pelvis position. The sink is equipped with a siphon, inlet and outlet hose and a spray nozzle.
The AGA-URO-LIFT features an electric smooth height adjustment range of 650-1160 mm (measured at the seat front edge) with full use of both motorized adjustments, therefore providing every user with an ideal working height. Furthermore, the low seat height of the AGA-URO-LIFT eliminates the need for a folding footstool.

Privacy screens, mobile screens and wall-mounted screens
The folding privacy screens are available in three different versions (without castors, with castors and pull-out wall-mounted). The sturdy profiled aluminum tubular frame gives these light-weight screens an enhanced level of stability. The individual panels are joined by two galvanized hinges which can be folded in both directions.
The screen panels are made of 3mm-thick, impact-resistant and easy-to-clean PVC rigid foam boards.
The even, micro-cell foam structure is uniformly coloured, flame retardant and resistant to repeated disinfectant use.
The folding privacy screens are available in a mobile version equipped with castors (total height of mobile screens is 1750mm).
The panels can be individually arranged as desired. They are available not only in white but also in blue, grey, black, yellow, red and green without extra charge.
The folding privacy screens are also available with mirror panels at extra charge. Article number ‘Spiegel-PV’ indicates the charge per mirror panel. Please note that the front of the panel will be provided with a mirror, and the back with an aluminum finish.
